COVID Disclaimer
There will be no COVID procedures or protocols enforced on this trip. If you want to wear a mask, feel free to wear a mask. Masks will NOT be required.
Target Fishing Location
San Clemente Island is a haven for big trophy calico bass, like the one you have been chasing. In normal conditions, the island produces too many 5 lb.+ calico bass to count with some serious brutes in the mix. The island isn’t just for the bass nuts, there is quality yellowtail fishing, rock fishing, sheephead and doormat sized halibut.

What Is Included?
The following is included in the trip price:
- 3 meals a day + two snacks (on fishing days)
- Water, soda, tea, coffee 24/7
- Full service crew
- Skiff support while on the water

What Is Not Included?
The following is NOT included in the trip price:
- Alcohol (Beer can be purchased while onboard)
- Bottled water (can be purchased while onboard)
- Jackpot (see below)
- Fish processing (nominal fee)

* We suggest $150 for the crew. Ultimately this is up to each individual, however we are confident that you will be pleased.

- Beer
- Drugs
- Large kayaks such as Hobie Pro Anglers

The following is allowed on the Islander:

Living Aboard
You will live aboard the Islander for four (4) nights.
- Bed (bring your own linens)
- A/C in every room
- 2 full bathrooms with showers
- Staterooms with 3-4 bed racks in each
- Batteries, GoPros, etc. can be charged in your room
- No WiFi or cell service will be intermittent
Slabzone Lure Co. Tournament Rules
Fish Village & Slabzone Lure Co. are hosting a contest to add a little excitement to the trip.
- $20 buy-in (anglers receive two (2) Slabzone Lures)
- Biggest aka the heaviest fish out of the three (3) days wins
- Fish must be caught on a \”Slab\” and while on a kayak
- Picture with a fish and \”Slab\” hooked is required
- Winner takes all (pot starts at $200)
Packing Tips
Our first tip to everyone on every trip… don’t over pack. You need enough gear to last you two days. For most, you probably already have the gear that you need to be successful on this trip. Our second tip… PUT YOUR NAME ON EVERYTHING!

Itinerary
The Islander is docked at Fisherman’s Landing in San Diego. All trips start and end here. Multi-day parking is allowed in multiple parking lots adjacent to Fisherman\’s Landing. It is no longer limited to the two small parking lots shared between Fisherman\’s Landing and H&M Landing. Average price per day is between $10-12. Lock your car and do not leave anything in the back of your truck bed. You can park on either side of the parking lot, just note that the parking lot is shared with H&M Landing. After parking, head towards Fisherman\’s Landing (to the left of Mitch\’s Seafood when facing the docks).
Dock carts are available to load your gear and stage. Simply walk the edges of the docks to find empty carts. Please be courteous and share carts with other anglers on the trip when possible.
