You will need to apply for a NZeTa (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) at least 72 hours prior to your arrival. This can be done online or through a mobile application for a cost of $35 NZD.

Yes, a valid passport is required for travel to New Zealand.
Your passport must be valid for at least three (3) months after you plan to leave New Zealand.
Yes, you can bring your own gear. We do offer a rental program for those that don't want to deal with the hassle of taking gear. Contact your Fish Village representative for details.
For rod tubes, we suggest keeping them shorter than 85 inches. American Airlines and Qantas would have no issues with this.
We recommend staying as light as possible just to make the journey easier.

$1,000 due within seven (7) business days of booking.
Full payment is required up front if the deposit cut-off date has passed. The deposit cut-off date is sixty (60) days before the trip start date.
We can bill one person in the group OR we can bill each guest individually. Just let us know what you would like us to do before we bill you.
Customers can stretch their bill out to four (4) payments + deposit. Full payments are due sixty (60) days before the Trip Start date.
If using credit card, your credit card will automatically be charged for the remaining balance on file sixty (60) days prior to the trip start date.

Additional Services FAQ
A full Catch Fishing gear package can be rented for $200. This will have at least three (3) setups ranging from jigging and live bait.
Fish Village can arrange all of your travel including your connections and round-trip airfare out of Los Angeles (LAX).

You will fly into Auckland and stay waterside for the first couple of days. You will then transfer to Leigh before heading offshore to fish the Great Barrier Islands.

It is usually warm during their summer and fall months (November - April) ranging from 70 F to 85 F.
