Central Coast Slam Down 2019 - That's a Wrap!

What a blast...
We love this event because it is all about the anglers, their friends and their families. This event is about hanging out, telling stories, making new ones on the water and at the campsite.
We mixed it up this year and rented a trailer from Luv 2 Camp to make roughing it... not so rough. The plush accommodations made for an even better experience as we never were hot or cold and always had a place to hang out. This will be the standard going forward... we got spoiled.
Our business partner Nic Gadouas came down from Trinidad to show off his Stabi-craft and all the latest from Catch Fishing. Nic and I ended up launching the boat out of Morro Bay and scooted around the Cayucos area looking for rockpiles and halibut while Tommy and Joe fished out of Leffingwell in Cambria. Though not a lot happened at the end of our lines, we did make sure to eat like kings, drink like fishes and enjoy the company of our Central Coast fishing family.
With only one person catching all five (5) fish, the champion was clear... Mark Hawley took first place and a free trip to Cedros Island with Fish Village. We knew this guy was in the hunt when he came in on Friday afternoon with a massive stringer. Somehow he found out how to do that two (2) days in a row. Congratulations Mark on a excellent two day haul.
We want to say thank you again to Ryan and Mary Howell for putting on such a great event. We absolutely love coming up and spending a few days with you guys.
We have a few tricks up our sleeves for Central Coast Slam Down 2020... stay tuned for more shenanigans and more prizes!
